Alat Konjic: Decades of Precision
- 1950
The Beginning
In 1952, between the mountains and the Neretva river, a workshop was founded in Konjic that would become Alat Konjic – one of the best-known names in metalworking in Bosnia and Herzegovina. From the very start, the company built its reputation on quality and a dedication to precision.
- 1960–70
Growth and Expansion
Alat Konjic expanded rapidly alongside the growth of industry in the former Yugoslavia. New technologies were introduced, the facility was enlarged and new technicians and engineers were hired. The company became an important partner to industrial plants in the country and the region.
- 1980
Technical Progress
The 1980s brought modernized production and the introduction of advanced machines and measuring systems. The company exhibited at domestic and regional trade fairs and strengthened its reputation in toolmaking and precision engineering.
- 1990
War Years and Recovery
The years 1992–1995 were extremely hard for industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the war, Alat Konjic gradually rebuilt its capacity, investing in the reconstruction of its buildings and the modernization of its machines.
- 2000
Modernization and Certification
Investment in modern CNC machines and a quality management system to ISO 9001 — confirming our commitment to quality and reliability in the production of tools and metal parts.
- 2010
Consolidation and Growth
Alat Konjic strengthens its position on the domestic and international market. The workforce grows, the machine park is modernized and advanced quality control methods are introduced.
- 2020 – today
Innovation and Investment
More than 3,000 m² of production space, modern machinery and continuous investment in technology and staff training. More than 70 years of the precision we are known for.
